BMus (Hons) from Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Jerry Nowak Conducting Course (ABODA certification)
Neille grew up in Sydney as the daughter of a successful jazz musician, and learnt to play just about anything she could get her hands on. She completed a Bachelors Degree in Music with Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and undertook further study with Ros Dunlop and Mark Walton (clarinet), Kerrie Biddell (singing) and David Birks in Seattle (saxophone).
Since graduating, Neille has worked steadily as a musician in Sydney, working with such notable musicians as Jon English and Natalie Bassingthwaite. She also completed several contracts overseas on cruise ships and in hotels throughout Asia. She plays both jazz and classical repertoire and specialises in all contemporary genres of singing (rock, pop, blues, R&B and jazz).
Neille moved to Canberra in 2013 with her husband and two young children and has established herself as an in-demand teacher and musician, performing regularly with the Canberra Wind Symphony and Spectrum Big Band as well as many other ensembles around the Canberra region. She is passionate about teaching and customises her lessons to deliver the best songs, pieces and exercises to her students. Most importantly, Neille wants her students to enjoy each and every step of their musical journey, from beginner to advanced, and to find success, passion and fulfilment along the way.
